Farms Director - Midlands

Brian graduated from Reading University with a BSc Hons in Agriculture in 1978.  He joined the Velcourt Management Training Scheme and worked on a 750-hectare farm in north Bedfordshire for one year before being promoted to Foreman.  In 1981 he was appointed to the position of Farm Manager on a 700-hectare Fen farm in Cambridgeshire.  Three years later he was appointed as Regional Manager based back in Bedfordshire and latterly in Rutland.  From 1991 Brian has been Farms Director with Velcourt Limited with responsibilities for the Midlands and Northern areas.

Brian is responsible for procurement of vehicles & co-ordinates central purchasing of energy resource.

He has assisted in the development of the Company’s overseas activities, particularly in Eastern Europe.
