David joined Velcourt from Deloitte, Haskins & Sells in 1976 as assistant to the Financial Controller/ Company Secretary during a period of institutional client growth.

David has extensive experience of working with agricultural and land based businesses in the UK and continental Europe including the creation of bespoke funding arrangements and corporate structures, the development of commercial relationships and liaising/reporting to private and institutional shareholders.

The Veldt House team has been instrumental in setting up the financial systems, training and support programmes for Velcourt’s growth. David also oversees all insurance and legal matters for the Group and provides commercial support.
David has non-executives roles in other corporate and institutional organisations within the agricultural sector.
