Velcourt is well known throughout the UK for its commitment to the development of cost effective crop production technology. Technical development began in the seventies, influenced by the Schleswig-Holstein system. Today, Velcourt is working with all 5 major agrochemical manufacturers as well as undertaking funded research from UK government, levy bodies and the EU.

There is now a team of 7 full time research staff with over 90 individual, replicated small plot trial projects in the ground this season.
