Located approximately 450 Km south of Moscow in the Tambov Oblast OOO Agrovista is a rapidly expanding predominantly arable business.  Current area under cultivation is 25,000 Ha with plans to increase to 50,000 Ha in the next two years.  Much of the land now under cultivation was previously fallow.  Cropping currently comprises wheat, barley, sugar beet, sunflowers, spring oilseed rape as well as forage crops for the 300 dairy cows.  Staffing comprises 150 full time staff as well as casual and contract labour.

Velcourt are employed as managers as well as being investors and have appointed Mark Randall as Operations Manager.  Mark reports to Brian Redrup who sits on the OOO Agrovista board.

Currently managers are focussing on capital projects such as grain stores and other processing facilities.
