Located in the Ternopil Oblast in Western Ukraine Farm MRIYA is a Ukrainian family controlled business. The Huta family have embarked on a period of expansion and have leased further land with area under cultivation now 35,000 Ha. Velcourt were initially asked to manage 3000 Ha and Simon White who had previously managed a farm unit Kent moved to Ukraine in 2006. Velcourts remit now extends to the full cropped area and Simon Boughton has moved from the UK to assume full responsibility for the business as Farms Director.
Crops grown include Wheat,Barley,Oilseed Rape, Maize, Potatoes, Sugar Beet, Soya and Peas.
