The Role

Velcourt Ltd Kings Lynn in Norfolk, is seeking two reliable and hardworking grain carters to join the team for the upcoming harvest season, starting on 6th July and running through to the end of Harvest in mid September 2026.  

A 1,500-hectare arable unit in West Norfolk, the Kings Lynn operation grows wheat, barley, oilseed rape, sugar beet, vining peas, and beans. 

Duties & Responsibilities:    

As a Grain Carter, you will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient running of the harvest. Working closely with our experienced harvest team, you will be responsible for:  

  • Grain carting using 240hp tractors (Case Puma 240) and 16 T Trailers 

  • General harvest duties 

  • Possibility of undertaking cultivation work 

Candidate Requirements:  

  • Tractor driving experience preferred

  • Minimum 18 years old 

  • Full UK Driving licence 

  • Have the right to work in the UK

  • Forklift Certificate preferable - training can be organised
