|Notes:||An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious individual to manage all aspects of an all year round 250 Holstein Friesian dairy business on a 500ha Estate.
(2 miles North of South Molton and 8 miles East of Barnstaple).
The cows are split accordingly and are TMR fed and grazed during summer months, whilst being milked twice daily.
Applicants should be highly motivated and possess all the necessary skills to manage one of the two dairy enterprises on the Estate to a high standard. Training will be encouraged and provided in the necessary areas.
Main responsibilities include milking, nutrition, dry cow and grass management.
A 3 bedroom house is available on-site for the successful candidate, along with regular days off and a competitive starting salary

Contract Heifer rearer unit required in Dorset/Hampshire area. Due to TB legislation the farm required for contract rearing needs to be in a 10-mile radius of the home farm area. With this being furthest North - Ellingham, furthest East - Lymington, furthest South - Southbourne and furthest West - Bear Cross. Up to 270 head of stock from weaning to point of calving.
