The Role
Arbury Contracting Velcourt in Warwickshire is seeking two reliable and hardworking grain carters to join the team for the upcoming harvest season, starting on 20th July and running through to the end of Harvest in mid September.
Arbury Contracting, operates an 800-hectare arable business growing exclusively combinable crops. The rotation includes winter barley, winter wheat, spring barley, spring beans, and winter oilseed rape. The operation runs a modern fleet of Case tractors with Richard Western trailers, supported by a JCB forklift and a New Holland CR9.90 combine.
Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Grain Carter, you will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient running of the harvest. Working closely with our experienced harvest team, you will be responsible for:

Grain carting using Case Puma and 16/18t Richard Western trailer.

A range of general farm work on days the combine is not cutting.
Candidate Requirements:

Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

Applicants need to be forward-going and must be willing to learn.

Full, clean UK Driving Licence is required.

Minimum age18 years old.

Applicants must be able to show evidence of the right to work in the UK.
