Position Grain Carting / Grain Dryer Location North Cotswolds No. Required 3 Period 13th July 2026 - Early September 2026

The Role

Cotswold Contracting is seeking three reliable and hardworking Grain Carters/ Grain Dryer Operators to join the team for the upcoming harvest season, starting on 13th July and running through to the end of Harvest in early September. 

Located in the North Cotswolds near to Burford, Cotswold Contracting is spread across 6 farming businesses growing wheat, barley and oilseed rape. 

Duties & Responsibilities:    

This role will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient running of the harvest. Working closely with our experienced harvest team, you will be responsible for:  

  • Operating of one of our 3 grain storage facilities 

  • Responsible for using a continuous flow grain dryer 

  • General harvest duties  

  • Grain carting with 18-ton Richard Western trailers and a range of case tractors 

Candidate Requirements:  

  • Full UK driving license required.  

  • Telehandler certificate needed; however, training could be provided for the right candidate. 

  • Minimum age 18 years 

  • Applicants must be able to show evidence of the right to work in the UK.
