The Role
Humberside Farmers Ltd is seeking two reliable and hardworking Grain Carters to join the team for the upcoming harvest season, starting on 1st July and running through to the end of Harvest in mid-September. The main duty will be operating a 2025 240hp Case Puma with 18t Stewart trailer.
Located in East Yorkshire, the 1,400-hectare Humberside arable unit grows combinable crops and also includes let land for vining peas and potatoes. The business operates a fleet of modern, well-maintained equipment, including Case IH, New Holland, and JCB.
Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Grain Carter, you will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient running of the harvest. Working closely with our experienced harvest team, you will be responsible for:

Grain carting using 240-260hp Case tractors and 18t Bailey/Stewart grain trailers

Some secondary cultivations
-
Topping
-
Daily maintenance of equipment

Loading lorries and assisting with managing grain storage sites

Store cleaning
Candidate Requirements:
-
Full, clean UK Driving Licence
-
Telehandler Licence
-
Minimum age 21 years.
