The Role
Hartley Farming is seeking two reliable and hardworking Grain Carters to join the team for the upcoming harvest season, starting on 6th July and running through to the 4th September 2026.
Located in North Yorkshire, the 1,100-hectare Hartley Farming arable unit grows combinable crops and forage maize, with additional let land for potatoes and vining peas as part of a wider food business. The farm operates a fleet of modern, well-maintained equipment, including Case IH, Claas, JCB, and Vaderstad, and is focused on safety, employee wellbeing, sustainable food production, soil improvement, and environmental enhancements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Grain Carter, you will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient running of the harvest. Working closely with our experienced harvest team, you will be responsible for:

General harvest duties

Opportunity for wider estate work
Candidate Requirements:

Must be over 18 years old.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Telehandler certificate an advantage.

Must have previous tractor driving experience.

Applicants must be able to show evidence of the right to work in the UK.
