The Role
The Role
Down Ampney Contracting is seeking two reliable and hardworking Grain Carters to join the team for the upcoming harvest season, starting on 6th July and running through to the end of Harvest in late August.
Covering 2,500 ha, the farming operation grows combinable crops, maize, and stewardship land across six farms, from its base near Cirencester to outlying farms near Swindon.
Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Grain Carter, you will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient running of the harvest. Working closely with our experienced harvest team, you will be responsible for:

Grain carting operating Case Puma 240 tractors pulling 16t Richard Western trailers.

Other tractor driving duties and general farm work where necessary.
Candidate Requirements:

Tractor driving experience preferred.

Minimum 18 years old

Full UK Driving Licence

Have the right to work in the UK.
