Position Grain Carter Location South Cambridgeshire/ Bedfordshire No. Required 3 Period Early July – Early September

The Role

Vine Contracting is seeking three reliable, hardworking Grain Carters to join the team for the upcoming harvest season. The role will commence in early July and run through to the end of harvest in late August/early September. 

Located across South Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire, Velcourt Ltd Vine Contracting is a 1,400-hectare arable farm producing combinable crops and sugar beet, alongside land managed under environmental schemes.  

Duties & Responsibilities:      

As a Grain Carter, you will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient running of the harvest. Working closely with our experienced harvest team, you will be responsible for:  

  • Corn carting using 150- 240hp tractors 

  • General harvest duties 

  • Possibility of undertaking cultivation work 

Candidate Requirements:  

  • Tractor driving experience preferred. 

  • Minimum 18 years old 

  • Full UK Driving Licence 

  • Have the right to work in the UK. 

  • Rough terrain folk lift ticket would be an advantage (training can be provided)
