The Role
Due to a change of circumstances Humberside Farmers Ltd are looking for an experienced operator to join and become a key member of the team from July until the end of the drilling campaign in late October. The main duty will be operating a 645hp Case Quadtrac with implements including a 7m Vaderstad topdown and 9 furrow Lemken plough.
Humberside Farmers Ltd, based in East Yorkshire, comprises 1400ha of combinable crops as well as let land for vining peas and potatoes. The business operates a fleet of modern, well maintained equipment including Case IH, New Holland and JCB.
The successful applicant will become a key part of a team of five full-time members of staff as well as two part-time harvest staff.
Role will include:
- Primary and secondary cultivations using Case Quadtrac 645
- Some corn carting using 180-260hp Case tractors and 18t Bailey/Stewart grain trailers
- Daily maintenance of equipment
- Loading lorries and assisting with managing grain storage sites
- Store cleaning
Applicants must have:
- Full, clean UK Driving Licence
- Telehandler Licence
Minimum age 21 years.
Applicants must be able to show evidence of the right to work in the UK.
