The Role
Hadlow Contracting is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic General Farm Worker for the upcoming harvest season, starting on 1st July and running through to the end of October.
Located in Tonbridge, Kent, Hadlow Contracting farms three sides of the town across two equal-sized estates. The business operates a diverse farming enterprise, managing 640 hectares of arable cropping alongside 80 hectares of top fruit, with a further 600 hectares entered into diverse environmental stewardship schemes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Grain Carter, you will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient running of the harvest.
Working closely with our experienced harvest team, you will be responsible for:

Corn carting using 165-220hp Case tractors and 14t-16t grain trailers

Secondary cultivations such as subsoiling and rolling

Daily maintenance of equipment

Work within the Fruit enterprise (Orchard Forklift Work) and Estate Projects

Topping Stewardship

General Farm Duties
Candidate Requirements:

Full, clean UK Driving Licence
-
Minimum age 18 years.
-
Applicants must be able to show evidence of the right to work in the UK.

Telehandler and Counterbalance tickets are desirable, but training can be provided
