The position requires a high calibre individual who will be responsible for the precision planting and combining of the arable and forage crops, this will be using our Claydon Hybrid, Vaderstad Tempo and John Deere combine. Other duties included but not limited to; strip-till cultivation and buckraking. The farm is well equipped using the latest machinery, technology and RTK guidance systems, this is implemented through the businesses regular tractor replacement policy. The candidate needs to be flexible, enthusiastic and open minded.
The ideal candidate will have their telehandler, PA1, PA2 & PA4 qualifications. Further training can also be provided to an individual willing to learn.

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a lead arable operator on our busy forward thinking 900- hectare arable farm just a few miles to the South-East of Nottingham, near Cropwell Bishop. The farm grows a variety of crops including wheat, malting barley, forage maize, sugar beet and rye for whole-cropping and conventional mowing. It also supplies feedstock for an onsite 1MW AD plant and has exclusive access to the digestate waste product.
